Press Brake Operator – Night Shift Required.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Press Brake Operator with previous experience of working within a sheet metalwork environment to join our close-knit night-shift team and to further enhance the efforts of our busy Production Department at our Accrington site.

Experience. A minimum of two years’ experience working as a Press Brake Operator using Amada Press Brake machines within a fast-paced fabrication environment is essential. Previous night-work experience would be preferable.

Responsibilities. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical drawings to produce component parts to correct specification as per Job Card requirement in a timely and efficient way to meet delivery deadlines. You will be able to maintain high standards of workmanship and quality whilst maintaining a high percentage output. You will be able to work efficiently and safely and be able to undertake a reasonable amount of manual handling tasks. You will also be responsible for the continual operation and day-to-day maintenance of the relevant Amada Press Brake machine and associated tooling.

Skill Sets. Good communication skills and being an effective team member are essential as you will be working within a small team of operatives producing work to tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be available to work overtime, if and when the company workloads demands it.

Hours. Standard Working Hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday nights inclusive.
Salary. £15 per hour.

Draughtsperson / Production Planners Required. 
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a CAD/CAM Draughtsperson/Programmer with previous experience of working in a sheet metalwork environment to join our close-knit teams and to further enhance the efforts of our busy drawing/production planning offices at each of our Accrington and Liverpool sites.

Experience. Excellent 2D and/or 3D design skills using Radan, Autocad or an equivalent design and manufacturing package would be preferable.
Working knowledge of sheet metal flat pattern developments using material such as stainless steel would be a preferred asset.
The successful candidate will have a good basic understanding of sheet metal working equipment to understand the processes and design limitations.

Responsibilities. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting customer information/orders and drawings, to enable the production of accurate customer approval drawings, subsequent factory information for fabrication and also to work alongside other design team members to meet with tight delivery deadlines.

Skill Sets. Good communication skills are essential, as the successful candidate will be liaising with both the factory personnel and customers alike
Being an effective team member and willing to perform other roles within the company as and when required, would be an asset for the successful candidate.

Sheet metal working background is essential with a preferable emphasis on the catering equipment industry market.
The successful candidate must be available to work overtime, if and when the company workloads demands it.

Hours. Standard Working Hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Salary. Negotiable (depending on experience).

Locations. Two positions are available, one at Head Office based in Clayton-Le-Moors, BB5 5JD and one in Knowsley, L34 9HX.
