New for 2025, CED introduce a full range of ‘drop in’ serve over height patisseries in a wide choice of cold, hot & ambient displays to fit in servery counter worktops.
The curved styled Designline self-contained chilled patisserie is available in 600, 900, 1200, 1500 & 1800 long with rear doors or fixed back panels, for strategically positioning around your serving space. Each chilled display comprises four illuminated chilled display levels with 4000K colour LED lighting. The drop in patisseries maximize sales space by providing an extensive display area and merchandising space, within a minimal 750mm deep footprint.

The Designline drop in chilled patisserie is part of CED’s flagship range of energy efficient chilled hydrocarbon food displays. Featuring energy saving refrigeration, diffused LED lighting & ‘point of sale’ branding.
Chilled by integral hydrocarbon refrigerants, each cold patisserie contains intelligent, gantry mounted digital control technology & CED’s continued assurance of beautiful toughness and ruthless reliability in the field.
Airflow options allow for a smooth counter frontage by diverting refrigeration ventilation.

Model Choices.
Three types of cold model are available, a self help or assisted service model with rear double glazed doors and a version with a bright steel back panel, for wall sited scenarios. The wall sited drop in patisserie model features a rear worktop mounted grill to allow rejected heat to escape whilst hidden behind the display!

Self Help (Drop In) Cold Patisserie – Rear Doors.
Available in either 600, 900, 1200, 1500 & 1800mm wide ‘food hall’ sizes, the Designline self help cold patisserie can be located within a servery counter run. The open fronted display has a chilled steel display deck and 3 tiers of toughened, adjustable height glass shelves. Each of the display levels are fitted with combined 40mm ticket display, a product stop and low energy diffused LED lighting.  Re-stocking the unit is undertaken through hinged double glazed rear doors to the rear. All product is highly visible through the toughened glass canopy, sneeze screen and side panels. The glass canopy hood can form a serve-over section or be used for impulse display. Optional non standard air flow in/ out to operator side is available on all sizes of the drop in patisserie models.

Self Help (Drop In) Cold Patisserie – Fixed Back.
A drop in wall sited version is available in either 600, 900, 1200, 1500 & 1800mm wide ‘food hall’ sizes, allowing the display to be positioned in alcoves, wall sited counter runs or smaller restrictive sites.

 

 

 

 

The wall sited curved drop in patisserie model features a rear worktop mounted grill to allow rejected heat to escape whilst hidden behind the display! The rear door is replaced with a bright steel back panel & product re-stocking is through the open face of the cabinet. The fixed back cabinet matches all other Designline drop in patisseries.

Assisted Serve (Drop In) Cold Patisserie – Rear Doors.
The assisted service model is used in a traditional operator served environment, where the customer can be ‘served over’or around the patisserie display. Hinged full height curved front glass encloses the patisserie.
This rear door display is also available in either 600, 900, 1200, 1500 & 1800mm wide ‘food hall’ sizes. The Designline assisted service model also has a chilled steel display deck and 3 tiers of chilled toughened adjustable height glass shelves. Each of the display levels are fitted with a combined 40mm ticket display, product stop and low energy diffused LED lighting.  The full height curved glass front screen tilts forward and locks, to allow the operator unhindered cleaning access. Re-stocking the unit is undertaken through hinged double glazed doors to the rear. All chilled product is highly visible through the toughened curved glass canopy, full front screen and side panels. The flat section of the curved glass canopy hood can form a serve-over section or be used for impulse display. Optional non standard air flow in/ out to operator side is available on all sizes of these drop in patisserie models.
